Abies grandis (Grand Fir)
Tall, stately evergreen

Grand Fir is a tall evergreen, growing to nearly 200 feet in height.  Grand Fir grows well in a wide variety of soil types and moisture levels.  It seems to prefer deep, rich soils of moderate moisture and is commonly found in mixed Douglas Fir forests in valleys and river bottoms.  Grand fir has long(for a fir tree), dark green needles that are flat and set in two rows along the branch.  Grand fir is an important commercial timber tree and is also a popular Christmas tree.  Please contact us for prices and availability.
