White Alder is a wonderful West Coast native that is an excellent choice for streamside erosion control.  Growing to upwards of 80 feet in height, White Alder prefers moist, rich soils along streams or floodplains.  White Alder is also a nitrogen fixing plant, improving soil fertility and is often associated with disurbed sites.  White Alder is an important tree for planting in disturbed sites that are prone to erosion.  Please contact us for pricing and availability.
