Common Camas is a very showy perennial growing to nearly two feet in height.  It grows best in moist meadows that dry in the summer, and prefers full sun.  The purple to blue flowers can vary in color to almost white.  The flowers bloom along a tall flower spike with many blooms opening along the top section of the spike.  Common Camas was a very important food source for the native peoples of the Pacific Northwest.  Please contact us for prices and availability.
