Ribes sanguineum (Red Flowering Currant)

A Pacific Northwest garden favorite

Red Flowering Currant is a crowd favorite.  Growing to nine feet in height, its wonderful red to pink flower clusters in early spring are the hallmark of this shrub.  It is drought tolerant and prefers a dry sunny spot with well draining soils.  Hummingbirds are attracted to this shrub as an early spring source of nectar.   The purple berries are edible, but not very tasty.  Please contact us for pricing and availability.
