Nootka Rose is a large native rose that grows up to nine feet in height.  It grows in a wide range of conditions, but prefers a sunny, moist spot and is common along open stream banks and roadside ditches.  The pink flower is quite large and is usually single at the tips of branches.  Nootka rose makes an excellent wildlife shrub with its large red hips as a food source for birds and other animals, and thick branches providing cover.  Nootka rose does spread quite quickly so be sure to have enough room.  It makes a nice "wild" hedge.  Please contact us for pricing and availability.
