Salix lasiandra (Pacific Willow)
Other names: Peach leaf willow, red willow
Pacific Willow is a tall shrub or small tree and is one of our largest willows, reaching heights of nearly 40 feet. Pacific willow needs water. It grows in sunny areas along streams, rivers, and sloughs. It is an important food source for beaver and big game species. It functions great for erosion control and holds streambanks together as well as providing shade to cool the waters under its canopy. Pacific willow would be a great choice for streambank remediation and erosion control. Please contact us for pricing and availability.
