Smilacina racemosa (False Solomon's Seal)
Other names: Large False Solomon's Seal

False Solomon's Seal grows to nearly three feet in height and often forms clumps growing from a large fleshy rhizome.  False Solomon's Seal will thrive in any moist, shady area and makes a excellent accent plant for shade gardens.  False Solomon's Seal flowers are creamy white, and are displayed in a large cluster at the end of the leafy stem.  The flowers are very stongly arromatic and smell great.  The berries turn bright red in the fall and add to the ornamental value.  Large alternate leaves make this an excellent foliage plant for gardens also.  Please contact us for prices and availability
